2017 Royal Club of Hunters Awards

VENATORIA PERSONALITY AWARD 2015

During the course of the meeting held on April 4, 2018, the jury of the Real Club de Monteros awards has unanimously decided to award the 2017 Hunting Personality Award to Mr. José María de la Blanca Finat y Bustos , Duke of Pastrana " for the successful and exemplary game management of his hunting grounds, and especially of the 'El Castañar' estate, contributing to the conservation and maintenance of very valuable ecosystems."

The jury of this award is made up of the members of the Board of Directors of the RCM, the Honorable Mr. José Antonio Rein Duffau, Messrs. Jaime Fernández Gasset, Mr. Ramón Estalella Halffter, Mr. Santiago Segovia Pérez, Mr. Miguel Angel Perlado Sotodosos, Mr. Pablo Fernández Gasset, Mr. Rodrigo Moreno de Borbón, Mr. Julian Coca Borrego, Mr. Eduardo Trigo y Sierra, Mr. Joaquín de Lapatza Benito and Mr. Ramón Menendez-Pidal y Eiras , chaired by Mr. César Fernández de la Peña .

ART AND CULTURE AWARD 2017

During the course of the aforementioned meeting, the same jury has unanimously decided to award the 2017 Art and Culture Award to Mr. Iván Martínez-Cubells Leyún , as Director of 'Fuera de Serie' and of the Transversal Lifestyle Area of Unidad Editorial, "for his valuable contribution to the understanding of the hunting reality and the rural world by all spheres of society."

The awards ceremony will take place at a solemn ceremony, at a place, date and time yet to be determined.
