Portugal, Country of the Year in Hunting 2015
In 2015, Portugal will be the official country of participation in Cinegética , a fact that demonstrates the international nature of the event and demonstrates the importance of the fair beyond our borders.
This is an initiative of the Confederacão dos Agricultores de Portugal (CAP), within the framework of the "Portugal sou eu" programme, which on this occasion is betting on sponsoring hunting in our country, as a destination for many Spanish hunters.
Portugal's presence at Cinegética 2015 will also be backed by the support of the Portuguese chapter of the Safari Club International (SCI Lusitânia Chapter) and two other large Portuguese hunting organizations, the ANPC (Associação Nacional de Proprietários e Produtores de Caça) and the CPM (Clube Português de Monteiros).
Portugal will have an ideal space at Cinegética, where twelve Portuguese companies will meet to show the public the richness of hunting in our neighbouring country, whether in the variety of small game with the red partridge as the undisputed protagonist, or big game with its traditional hunts, as well as deer, fallow deer, mouflon and roe deer stalking, in the best Portuguese hunting areas.
These hunting offers will also be complemented by tourism programmes that will promote Portuguese culture.
