New eco-friendly ammunition at Cinegética 2015

The continuation of hunting depends directly on the conservation and respect for Nature. Thanks to the incredible advances being made in research and development, hunters are more environmentally conscious and demand increasingly specific and ecological products.

For this reason, Cinegética 2015 will also feature the presence of Bio Ammo , a Spanish biotechnology company immersed in authentic innovation in cartridges, specifically in the development of completely biodegradable ammunition.

Aware of the incredible plastic and metal pollution that our fields and rivers are suffering, Bio Ammo uses cutting-edge, completely natural bioplastics with the same physical-mechanical characteristics as traditional ones, thus being able to create cartridges that do not pollute in the production process, during their use, or in their subsequent disintegration.

Thanks to the enzymatic action of bacteria, the materials are completely biodegradable, and the disintegration process is completed in less than a year, which is certainly very different from the 450 years that conventional plastic takes to disappear. Another very important fact is that these cartridges are water-repellent, thus preventing them from dissolving in water and preventing their potential contaminating action.

Bio Ammo will present its three patents at Cinegética 2015 : completely biodegradable airsoft ammunition (plastic pellets), semi-metallic ammunition (shotgun cartridges) with a biodegradable shell and wad, and metallic ammunition with a biodegradable shell, primarily for training.
