Cinegética+SCI 2026 Closes with Resounding Success, Reaffirming Its Leadership in the Hunting Sector
At 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, the 13th edition of Cinegética+SCI 2026 closed its doors after four intense days, once again proving to be the premier reference event for the hunting and field-sports sector in Spain and, arguably, Europe. The fair demonstrated its strength, consolidating a resounding success for both exhibitors and the many enthusiasts who participated in this edition.
Throughout the event, the aisles of Hall 4 at IFEMA witnessed countless reunions among friends, family, and fellow aficionados, creating an atmosphere marked by the shared passion for the countryside and hunting. As the fair came to an end, silence returned to the hall while exhibitors began dismantling their stands, bringing a memorable edition to a close and already setting the stage for the next edition, scheduled for March 11–14, 2027, in Hall 14 at IFEMA.
A standout feature of this year’s fair was the vibrant atmosphere, with families and especially children actively enjoying the various activities—highlighting the generational continuity that ensures the future of this pastime.
The numbers speak for themselves. With over 15,000 m² of exhibition space, the fair hosted a total of 332 stands, offering products and services in a dynamic and highly engaging environment. Exhibitors expressed great satisfaction, with consistently busy stands throughout the four days of the fair.
The event program was once again a fundamental pillar of the fair. Highlights included the meeting of environmental ministers from various autonomous communities, united in discussing the present and future of the countryside and hunting; the final of the 4th edition of the hunting tapas contest organized with the Madrid Community Hotel School; and the announcement of the winners of the 1st Antonio Mata Literary Contest, among other initiatives.
This edition also featured the distinguished visit of Alberto Núñez Feijóo, leader of the Popular Party, underscoring the institutional and social relevance that Cinegética+SCI has achieved at the national level.
On the leisure side, activities such as air rifle shooting at animal-shaped targets and archery drew significant participation. Hunting dogs were a constant presence, with traditional packs parading through the aisles to the sound of the hunting horn, delighting both enthusiasts and especially children. The always spectacular display of birds of prey was also a highlight.
Another major moment of the fair was the Cinegética and Safari Club International Gala Dinner, where the Cinegética 2025 Awards were presented for the best international hunting trophies in various categories, consolidating the event as a key date in the sector’s calendar.
In terms of media coverage, the fair saw a strong presence of both specialized and general media, with television, radio, and print outlets closely following the event.
From the management of Cinegética+SCI and its communications department, we extend our sincere thanks to all exhibitors, professionals, and participants who made the success of this edition possible.
The Cinegética+SCI team is already working enthusiastically on the next edition, which will open its doors from March 11–14, 2027, with the goal of continuing to grow and surpass the achievements of 2026.
Cinegética… Much More Than a Fair!
