The ninth edition of Cinegética welcomes all fans of hunting and the countryside

At 3:00 p.m. this Thursday, March 17, in Hall 14 of IFEMA, the ninth edition of Cinegética 2022 opened its doors to all lovers of the countryside and hunting. With the return to normality, from the first moment, before the opening, visitors and friends were already meeting at the entrance turnstiles to meet again with their fair.

The opening ceremony of the fair was held at 5:00 p.m. The director of communications of IFEMA, Mr. Raúl Díez , welcomed all the attendees, recalling the importance of a fair like Cinegética for the countryside and biodiversity in general. The honorary president of Cinegética, Dr. Eduardo Romero Nieto , thanked Expo Cinegética SL for its honorary appointment, for the first time in this edition, and highlighted the participation, once again this year, of the Museum of Wild Fauna, one of the great attractions of the fair that brings visitors the most spectacular game species from all corners of the world.



The Colonel in charge of the Central Weapons Intervention, Mr. Diego Pérez de los Cobos , in addition to highlighting the need for hunting, has emphasized the importance of the Civil Guard, since its beginnings, for the control of all types of weapons for the benefit of society. For his part, the General Director of Forest Policy of the Junta de Extremadura, Mr. Pedro Muñoz Barco , has expressed the importance in all areas of Cinegética as a fair, as well as the participation of the Junta de Extremadura in all editions with a reference stand. Mr. Mariano González Sáez , Vice Minister of the Environment of the Community of Madrid, has closed the opening ceremony, highlighting the support that hunting activity receives in the Community and its presence in all editions of the fair.

It is worth highlighting the presence at the opening ceremony of the president of the Royal Spanish Hunting Federation, Mr. Manuel Gallardo Casado , the general director of Biodiversity and Natural Resources of the Community of Madrid, Luis del Olmo , the president of IFEMA, Mr. Eduardo López-Puertas , or the director of Expo Cinegética, Mr. Rodrigo Moreno, among other authorities related to hunting, the countryside and the environment.



Once the inauguration was over, a tour was carried out around the different stands in Pavilion 14, visiting the Wildlife Museum, the JNHT trophies, the RFEC and Artemisan Foundation trophies and the Community of Madrid, among others.

Cinegética 2022 will be open to all visitors today, Friday 18th and Saturday 19th, from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and on Sunday 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
