Cinegética 2016: A great success
Cinegética has once again confirmed itself as a great success, supported by the large number of visitors and the high level of business achieved by exhibitors.
On this occasion, the extension of the corridors and the constant presence of the public made it possible to enjoy a more comfortable and calm fair for both visitors and exhibitors, with crowds occurring only on Saturday morning. Throughout the weekend, Cinegética 2016 received 34,900 visits , compared to the 33,500 recorded in the last edition.
Pavilion 12 at IFEMA once again hosted 11,000m2 of exhibition space dedicated to hunting and fishing, where more than 250 exhibitors from around the world presented their latest developments.
Once again, fishing has had great importance thanks to FlyMad : II fly tying competition, and the continuous demonstrations that took place in the Cinegética pool.
The fair has once again displayed a wide range of activities and conferences so that visitors can experience their passion for hunting and fishing beyond the mere exhibition. These include the classics, such as the archery and rifle shooting range, the bird of prey flight displays and dog demonstrations. In addition, there were courses on SCI measurement, conferences and workshops on predator fishing, the AEPES assembly and conferences on long-distance shooting, the importance of DNA in hunting or the situation of rabbits in our fields.
Cinegética also moved to the Hotel Meliá Castilla, where two important dinners were held. On Friday night, the Cinegética and Culminum Magister Awards were presented, and on Saturday night, the SCI gala dinner was held.
Now that Cinegética 2016 is over, the organization would like to express its most sincere gratitude to all exhibitors, sponsors and collaborators for their great trust and unconditional support; to the media for their constant help; and thanks to the entire team that has worked hard to make everything perfect this weekend. But, above all, we would like to thank the 34,900 visitors who faithfully chose Cinegética once again.
