Cinegética 2016 dresses up: Cinegética Awards and Suma Hispánica

Cinegética is more than just a fair, and once again it has crossed the walls of Pavilion 12 at IFEMA to celebrate the Cinegética and Suma Hispánica Awards .

With these awards, the fair recognises the true, boundless passion of those hunters who, facing difficult and even risky experiences, have achieved magnificent trophies that are proof of their enthusiasm for this sport.

The Hunting Awards evaluate various aspects, such as the difficulty of the hunt, the value of the species, as well as its quality and aesthetics using the CIC formulas for European trophies and the SCI formulas for trophies from the rest of the world. These awards are divided into the categories of Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Bow Hunting, in which Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are awarded. Likewise, the best trophy presented will be distinguished with a special prize sponsored by Nikon.

In turn, the Suma Hispánica Awards are given to those hunters who have obtained trophies of the big game species that the National Board of Trophy Homologation recognises in Spain: wolf, deer, wild boar, roe deer, fallow deer, chamois, Spanish ibex, aoudad, chamois, mouflon and Balearic boc, awarding a Gold medal to hunters who have obtained the eleven species mentioned, Silver to those who have obtained nine, and Bronze to those who have obtained seven.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Meliá Castilla hotel on March 18 at 9:30 p.m. , during the gala dinner that will bring together the winners and various personalities from the hunting scene.

The award-winning trophies will be displayed in a prominent place at the fair, during all the days of its celebration: from March 17 to 20, in Pavilion 12 of the IFEMA Fairgrounds in Madrid .
