Cinegética+SCI 2025 Kicks Off
At 3:00 PM today, Thursday, March 20, the twelfth edition of Cinegética+SCI 2025 will open its doors once again, right on schedule, to welcome all hunting, nature, and conservation enthusiasts.
Later, at 5:00 PM, the official inauguration of the fair will take place.
The opening ceremony will feature speeches from Mr. Daniel Martínez, Executive Vice President of IFEMA; Mr. Fernando Saiz Luca de Tena, President of Cinegética-SCI; and Mr. Jesús Gálvez, Chief Colonel of the ICAE. Representing the Community of Madrid will be Mr. Carlos Novillo Piris, Minister of the Environment. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food will be represented by Mr. José Luis Agüero, Deputy Director General of Livestock and Game Productions. Finally, the honorary president of the event, the esteemed Mayor of Madrid, Mr. José Luis Martínez-Almeida, will also speak.
Additionally, we will be joined by members of the Cinegética Board of Directors, including Mr. John McLauri, President of SCI; Mr. Laird Hamberlin, CEO of SCI; Mr. Josep Escandell, President of the RFEC; Mr. Ignacio Higuero, Forestry Management Advisor of Extremadura; Mr. Rafael García González, Deputy Minister of the Environment of the Community of Madrid; Ms. Paloma Martín, Deputy Secretary for the Environment of the Popular Party; Ms. Almudena Maillo, Madrid's Tourism Delegate; and Mr. Ángel Asensio, President of the Chamber of Commerce.
Following the inauguration, attendees will tour various stands, including the Iberian Ibex monograph and canine area, featuring hunting dog packs and traditional horn calls; the RFEC stand; the Community of Madrid stand; and the SCI stand, among others.
Cinegética+SCI 2025 will be open to all visitors starting today, Thursday, from 3:00 PM. It will continue on Friday, March 21, and Saturday, March 22, from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM, and on Sunday, March 23, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
