Cinegética + SCI Promotes Young Culinary Talent with its 5th Game Cooking Competition

The Cinegética + SCI fair will host the 5th SCI Game Cooking Competition on the morning of Friday, March 20, an event held annually within the framework of the fair that has become a benchmark for promoting the gastronomy of game meat among the new generations of chefs.

Organized by the Safari Club International Iberian Chapter and Cinegética + SCI, the competition was launched in March 2022 with the aim of integrating young culinary and gastronomy students into a food culture linked to nature and hunting activities. Since then, the competition has been part of the official Cinegética + SCI program, reinforcing the educational and outreach nature of the fair.

In this fifth edition, the SCI Iberian Chapter and Cinegética + SCI reaffirm their commitment to the training of future culinary professionals, promoting technical knowledge of game meat, gastronomic creativity, and the defense of nature as an essential pillar of hunting activities.

The 5th SCI Game Cooking Competition is aimed exclusively at students enrolled in hospitality and culinary schools throughout the Community of Madrid, thus encouraging young talent and specialization in the culinary preparation of game products.

Now firmly established as a platform for showcasing promising young chefs—and even a model replicated in other sector competitions—the contest once again brings together tradition, innovation, and commitment to the product in a professional and educational environment.

The organization invites media representatives, industry professionals, and fair visitors to attend this gastronomic event, which highlights culinary excellence and respect for the natural environment.
