What are teratological trophies?
Teratological trophies are rare trophies , that is, with some particularity that makes them unique. In this case, during the Cinegética 2023 fair, a collection of 800 trophies will be exhibited that will be moved from the Paco Mena Teratological Museum, located in Madridejos (Toledo) to pavilion number 14 of IFEMA.
What is the Paco Mena Teratology Museum?
The collection that will be presented at Cinegética 2023 will feature the museum's most important pieces so that they can be enjoyed by all of you.
In 1961, Paco Mena obtained his first piece: a deer with an iron cable embedded in its skull. Since then, he has managed to gather an unrivalled collection of trophies. A unique exhibition, possibly worldwide, due to the characteristics of its trophies, their beauty and their scientific-hunting interest , which can be enjoyed in this new and already approaching edition of Cinegética 2023.
Will there be more exhibitions at Cinegética?
At Cinegética we will have many more exhibitions during the fair, in addition to those that the exhibitors decide to put on at their stands. In addition, we can confirm that we will have the exhibition of species from the Museum of Wild Fauna (MFS) of Dr. Romero Nieto and that of our usual taxidermists: Artax Masedo, Garoz and Álvarez del Valle.
