Normality and security are key at Cinegética 2021
If there is one important thing to highlight in the development of the second day of Cinegética 2021 , it is none other than the normality and health security enjoyed by the many visitors who attended the fair.From early in the morning, many visitors waited patiently to pass the relevant health checks and leave their personal details – for any unwanted tracking – and buy their tickets. Despite the wait, everything went off without a hitch and very soon the halls of the fair returned to the activity of previous editions.
As for the development of the scheduled activities, it is worth highlighting that on the afternoon of the 10th an emotional event was held in the canine area in which the Association of Spanish Regional Packs of Hunting and Freedom, ARRECAL, paid tribute to the Government Commissioner for Animal Welfare, Pablo Altozano , for his attention and willingness to the sector of the packs and the hunting and hunting in general. The president of ARRECAL, Felipe Vegue , in the presence of the president of the RFEC, Manuel Gallardo , presented him with a sculpture – a snail, as it could not be otherwise – in gratitude for his work. Altozano stressed his commitment to a sector such as hunting and the pack, in which the care of dogs, and animals in general, as well as his affection for them, is an example for other sectors of society that do not look favorably on our activity.
Throughout the day, visitors to the fair were able to enjoy the beating of the podencos and the sound of the conch shell in the parades of packs of hounds, which were celebrated with great showiness and which can be enjoyed throughout the days of the fair, as well as the displays of birds of prey that especially excite the youngest visitors.
The events and other planned activities also took place as normal, including the General Assembly of the Cuminum Magister Brotherhood , in which tribute was paid to one of its founders, the Marquis of Laserna , and another heartfelt tribute to the members who have suffered the effects of the pandemic. Another of the events held was the presentation of the awards for the Caracola and Hunter of the Year from the magazine Caza y Safaris .
Today, the 12th, the Cinegética-SCI gala dinner will be held, with the presentation of the 2020 Cinegética Awards with the auctions of safaris and hunts.
On another note, it is worth highlighting, due to its absolute normality, the distribution of masks by the fair's organisers, to the exhibitors and to all the visitors who have requested them.
Cinegética 2021… Much more than a fair!
