Fernando Saiz Luca de Tena Passes Away
Fernando Saiz Luca de Tena was, and will continue to be, a prominent figure in the Spanish hunting world, recognized for his leadership and commitment to sustainable hunting and nature conservation. At the time of his passing, he was serving as president of Cinegética-SCI, Spain’s leading hunting and nature trade fair, held annually at IFEMA in Madrid.
He was also the founder of the Cofradía Culminum Magister, an organization dedicated to promoting ethical hunting and the conservation of high mountain species. Within this brotherhood, he played an active role in its management and development.
His legacy includes the merger of the Venatoria and FICAAR fairs, which in 2013 led to the creation of Cinegética—now a benchmark event in the European hunting sector.
Through his company, Fernando Saiz Spain, he championed Spanish hunting traditions and excellence in the field, offering experiences that combined a deep respect for nature with a passion for hunting.
His dedication and leadership left a lasting impact on the hunting community, making him a respected figure among hunters and conservationists alike.
