Hunting and Rediscovering Hunting Drawing Competition: Bringing the countryside and hunting closer to the youngest
We want the world of hunting and the countryside to reach all audiences, especially the youngest, since they are the future of the countryside and hunting. For this reason, we are launching this drawing contest in which participants can win tickets for Cinegética 2023 accompanied by their parents and a free place for the Rediscovering Hunting Camp, among other prizes.How do I participate in the contest? Until when can I participate?
To participate in the drawing contest of Cinegética and Redescubriendo la Caza you only have to send a photo of your work to info@redescubriendolacaza.es before March 15 at 24:00h . In the email you must include your details (name, age and contact phone number) and an authorization from your parent/mother to participate.
If your drawing/painting passes the first selection, it will be part of the virtual exhibition on this website. In the second selection, the finalist works will be physically exhibited at the international hunting fair Cinegética 2023 in Madrid.
They can be submitted in any format (watercolour, drawing, oil painting, etc.) up to A-3 size. All works must be original, unpublished, non-defamatory and not infringe any copyright. The works exhibited at the fair will remain the property of the organiser.
Examples of the theme may include works that reflect the values of a good hunter , the emotions of hunting, current events in hunting, the history of hunting, scenes from a hunting party, details of a hunter's equipment, the attention the hunter gives to his hunting assistants (dogs, birds of prey, horses, ferrets, etc.), an evocation of the efforts of hunters to conserve species and/or the natural environment in which they hunt, the integration of the hunter into the natural environment, the hunter's family, children and young people in hunting, etc. In short, any image related to hunting.

Who can participate in the drawing contest?
People born between 2008 and 2016 can participate in this contest, as with this contest we want to show that there is a generational change in hunting and that children and young people have a lot to say about our way of understanding it. Thus, it is distributed in 5 categories with three prizes for each one of them.
- Category A (2015-16)
- Category B (2013-14)
- Category C (2011-12)
- Category D (2009-10)
- Category E (2006,07,08)
What are the prizes for the contest? When will they be awarded?
Participants can win a free place for the Rediscovering Hunting Camp as well as tickets to visit the 2023 Cinegética fair accompanied by their parents . In addition, the winners will receive a certificate and a gift courtesy of exhibitors at Cinegética 2023. If they are not collected at the fair, they will be kept for 1 month. The competition jury will award three prizes in each age category.
The awards ceremony will take place during the Hunting Fair, as indicated in the program. It is expected to take place on Saturday 25th at 7:00 p.m.
