Cinegética 2021 thanks exhibitors and visitors for their participation in an 'atypical and epic' fair
At 3:00 p.m. yesterday, Sunday, June 13, Cinegética 2021 closed its doors to visitors. The silence gave way to the usual sounds of the fair in Hall 14 of IFEMA, which has welcomed 164 exhibitors and 22,456 visitors and friends over the past four days. But, above all, it left a trail of hope that everything will return to the longed-for and desired normality and, in a short period of time, we will be able to once again experience a fair with results as spectacular as in past editions.
Expo Cinegética SL, the company that organises Cinegética 2021 , would like to thank all its exhibitors, visitors and friends for the warm welcome that such a special fair as this one has had under such adverse circumstances. Normality and the overcoming of the many previous difficulties have achieved the expected success, making all lovers of the countryside and hunting feel that both the fair and our passion for nature are there and remain at the forefront to very soon achieve the aforementioned objectives of normality and bring everyone together in a new edition that surpasses all previous ones. The countryside, hunting and its fans deserve it.

In a quick summary, and on another note, we would like to highlight the turnout of the public last Saturday and the smooth running of all the scheduled activities. We would also like to highlight and appreciate the presence of personalities from the world of hunting and politics over the four days, among whom, last Friday, the presence of Santiago Abascal stood out, to the delight of hundreds of fans, as did the former president of the RFEC, and now MP for Vox, Ángel López .
On Saturday the General Assembly of the Cuminum Magister Brotherhood was held, as well as the presentation of the Guide to good practices for the rehalero , by the president of the AER, Alfonso Aguado and the president of the Real Club de Monteros, Carmen Basarán , among others. Various trophy measurements were also carried out by members of the SCI Iberian Chapter . In the evening, the Cinegética-SCI gala dinner took place, with the presentation of the 2020 Cinegética Awards and with various auctions of safaris and hunts. Special mention should be made of the auctions for a doll, dressed as a hunter, donated by the NGO ADEVIDA , from Córdoba, in which, after several bids (through the donation of previous winners) it raised 5,200 euros, for the benefit of said NGO, to help women with different needs.
Finally, we cannot fail to mention the great acceptance of the canine area, which attracted many visitors, and the showiness and welcome of the parades of packs of hounds to the sound of conch shells through the corridors of the fair, as well as the usual flights of birds of prey. Also, of course, the habitat created for the exhibition of the Big Five , from the Museum of Wild Fauna , which all visitors must have taken home in their photographs.
The long-awaited normality will return very soon to our lives, including hunting; we will recover the time that this damned pandemic has stolen from us, and, reiterating our gratitude to everyone for this unforgettable Cinegética 2021 , which is now a memory, the silence will be broken, and the murmur will rise throughout IFEMA recovering hunting, countryside and life, during the next few days from March 17 to 20 of next year 2022.
